Vodafone Türkiye and DAMAC Digital have launched a state-of-the-art data center in Izmir, Turkey, marking a significant milestone in the region’s digital infrastructure development. The recent inauguration of the data center represents an investment of approximately $100 million, shared equally between Vodafone Türkiye and DAMAC Digital. Spanning 7,500 square meters, the facility currently houses over 650 server cabinets and boasts an initial power capacity of 4 megawatts (MW). However, future plans outline an expansion of the center’s capacity to 20 MW, with a total projected investment increasing to $300 million as the partnership evolves.
