The recently unveiled initiative was highlighted during the two organizations’ participation at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam. This collaboration stems from a memorandum of understanding signed previously between Media City Qatar and Es’hailSat. The agreement is designed to provide Media City Qatar’s licensed entities with preferential access to an array of Es’hailSat’s services, which include direct-to-home (DTH) distribution, broadcast contributions, broadband services, and robust enterprise connectivity solutions.
The exclusive offerings also extend to Es’hailSat’s Tier IV and ISO-certified teleport facilities, which ensure high-quality and reliable service delivery. Additional features such as antenna hosting, co-location services, data centers, playout solutions, and media asset management are also part of this comprehensive package. This arrangement is strategically aimed at businesses across various segments of the media value chain, including broadcasters, OTT (Over-the-Top) platforms, production and post-production firms, technology and telecom entities, as well as vibrant start-ups.
