Khairaldeen’s military career spanned notable roles, including his time with the Paratroopers Brigade and Military Intelligence’s Special Operations Division. In 2009, he founded a nonprofit organization focusing on helping young Druze individuals transition into military service by enhancing their skills and resilience through partnerships with various programs.
According to his brother Mamduch, Khairaldeen’s warm demeanor and genuine smile continue to inspire those he left behind. A New Accelerator for Young Leaders
Recently, with substantial support from Prof. Meriam Adelson, the center expanded its efforts by opening an accelerator intended to advance young Druze in the high-tech sector. This initiative seeks to inspire innovation and equip the younger generation with the necessary skills to thrive in modern industries.
Mamduch elaborated on the establishment of the Lieutenant M Foundation, created by the family to keep Khairaldeen’s memory alive. The foundation is working on several key projects, including a center dedicated to heritage and education, aiming to share Khairaldeen’s story and values. They are also creating a community resource center focused on empowering parents to ensure the optimal development of their children.
Partnerships for Empowerment
The foundation collaborates closely with the Association for the Advancement of the Druze Soldier, which aims to support Druze soldiers and veterans currently serving in Israel. Mamduch appreciates the dedication of the Druze Veterans Association, founded by Koftan Halabi, to honor Khairaldeen’s memory through innovative projects.
Highlighting the center’s significance, Mamduch notes, “This venture embodies everything Mahmoud stood for: nurturing talent and connecting communities to opportunities within Israel’s high-tech landscape.” By bridging gaps and creating mentorship opportunities, the foundation continues Khairaldeen’s commitment to lifting the next generation and inspiring them to achieve their full potential.
