Past fairs have witnessed controversial literature, including works by Hamas leaders and materials glorifying acts of terrorism, raising questions about the event’s underlying motives. At the Istanbul event, the alignment between Qatari and Turkish efforts concerning Hamas was evident. Sheikh Dr. Ali al Qaradaghi reiterated during the fair the importance of prioritizing the Palestinian struggle and ensuring assistance to Gaza through every possible means. Dr. Ariel Admoni from Ariel University asserts that Qatari-Turkish collaboration leverages cultural initiatives to continue backing Palestinian groups, thereby maintaining their international standing while providing both financial and moral assistance.
