Iraq is currently advancing an essential oil pipeline initiative involving US energy giant Chevron, TE, and Qatar’s UCC. This undertaking aims to connect the southern city of Basra to Fishkhabur, with an additional extension reaching westward to Syria’s Mediterranean port of Baniyas.
