Developed through a partnership between the Industrial Modernization Center (IMC), Raed Bots, and Qubee, the robot is designed for practical industrial integration. Hashem pointed out that the initiative illustrates a significant move towards technology localization and augmenting domestic production. The Role of Young Egyptian Engineers
Minister Hashem commended the contributions of young Egyptian engineers who played a pivotal role in the robot’s development. The Minister also noted that the current model consists of 80% local components, with ambitions to increase this to 90% following the development of its motor locally.

Ayman Elbayaa, Assistant Minister of Industry for Digital Transformation, reiterated the significance of adopting Industry 4.0 technologies within Egyptian industries. At the event, three cooperation agreements were signed to further support industrial advancement. The first agreement between IMC and Raed Bots aims to provide essential technical support to industrial facilities. The second partnership with Qubee focuses on supplying robots specifically for packaging machinery, while the third agreement with Mansoura University aims to supply educational robots for student training and research.
Hashem highlighted that launching this robot is not merely a standalone accomplishment but rather the beginning of a larger initiative. He called for increased collaboration among industrial entities, universities, and technology firms to enhance Egypt’s ability to create locally designed solutions.
