Iran has set forth its conditions to the United States for ending the ongoing conflict, while simultaneously reinforcing its readiness for a “decisive war.” In a revealing interview with Al Jazeera, Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, indicated that Qatar has conveyed Tehran’s demands to Washington, awaiting a response from US President Donald Trump.
Iran’s Conditions for Peace
Rezaei made it clear that Iran’s stipulations for concluding the war include three essential demands: an immediate halt to hostilities on all fronts, the release of Iran’s frozen assets, and the cessation of the naval blockade. He emphasized that it would be in Washington’s best interest to agree to these terms, asserting that Trump’s threats would lead to no positive outcomes. “We are prepared for a decisive war,” Rezaei stated, highlighting Tehran’s resolve.
Military Readiness and Strategic Planning
The interview revealed that Iran remains vigilant and is adjusting its military strategies to counter any potential US strikes.
