Significant 24-hour worldwide prayer event uniting Christians on October 7

On October 7, 2026, Jerusalem will host a momentous global prayer event that aims to unite believers from various continents, including Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and beyond. Broadcasted through various platforms such as television, radio, and social media, this Global Prayer Event is projected to reach up to half a billion individuals, emphasizing the importance of collective faith and hope.

A Time to Remember and Unify

Three years following the Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023, Christians worldwide will gather to honor the victims, pray for Israel, and support the Jewish community. This gathering signifies that they are not alone in their struggles and that there is a global community standing in solidarity with them. The event is anchored in a deep sense of unity, aiming to inspire hope amidst heartache.

A central moment during this gathering will feature the song “The Whole World Sings Together,” carrying a poignant message: “The wounds may speak, the scars may whisper, but hope is louder than what’s been done.” The event has already garnered prayers from 208 countries on its online prayer wall, showcasing a visible international response leading up to this significant date.

Jerusalem: The Heart of Global Faith

Dr. Mike Evans, the founder of the Friends of Zion Heritage Center, will host this gathering from Jerusalem. The event will be a continuous 24-hour broadcast, encapsulating various time zones and inviting participation from Christian congregations around the globe. More than 1,000 pastors and Christian leaders are expected to join the Friends of Zion Ambassador Summit in Israel, strengthening ties and collaboration among diverse ministries.

In addition to engaging faith leaders, over 50 ambassadors are partnering with this initiative. Churches and prayer networks in different countries are also preparing their own local events, amplifying the global message of support for Israel and its people. Since the last summit in December, Friends of Zion has accumulated a substantial following, generating approximately a quarter of a billion views across social media, significantly combating antisemitism.

An Extraordinary Coalition of Leaders

This event aims to convene renowned Christian figures and media personalities, such as Erick Stakelbeck from TBN and Bishop Robert Stearns. A delegation of dignitaries will be present to share messages of solidarity and support for Israel. Among notable speakers will be Erika Kirk, who plans to address fellow widows in Israel, illustrating the event’s heartfelt aim of reaching those in need of hope.

The TCT Network will assist in broadcasting the event to Christian audiences internationally. The initiative is backed by a coalition of organizations, including NRB and Liberty University, forming a vast network committed to standing with Israel. The increasing participation reflects the event’s mission of fostering unity among believers across nations, denominations, and generations in a day dedicated to prayer.

Transforming Tragedy into Hope

Mike Evans articulated that the day of the tragic attacks, October 7, 2023, represents a time of sorrow and despair. However, three years later, the same date will symbolize hope and unity. This gathering aims to dismantle the narrative that suggests the Jewish people are isolated in their struggles. Instead, it will serve as a testament that the global community stands united in support.

Evans’ deep personal connection to the mission adds layers of passion; his family background informs his calling to advocate for the Jewish people. His commitment to this cause resonates strongly, aiming to foster a message of hope rather than despair. The overarching goal is to affirm, through prayer, support, and unity, that Israel and its people are indeed not alone.
