Quest for Noah’s Ark: Radar Imaging Uncovers Alleged ‘Artificial’ Structure in Turkey

A recent radar examination of the controversial Durupinar Formation in Turkey by Noah’s Ark Scans (NAS) has sparked renewed interest in the ongoing debate about a possible connection to the biblical Noah’s Ark. The organization claims to have discovered what might be a man-made structure buried beneath the site, reigniting discussions among archaeologists and enthusiasts alike.

Findings from the Radar Survey

Dr. Khosrow Bakhtar’s initial report asserts that the Durupinar Formation does not have a geological origin. According to NAS, the survey revealed an “extraordinary” structure lying beneath the surface, which the organization suggests is potentially man-made. These findings, however, have yet to undergo independent verification or peer review, making them preliminary at this stage.

The Durupinar Formation, first identified by a Kurdish shepherd in 1959, gained its biblical association due to its unique shape and location near Mount Ararat. Since the 1960s, a number of researchers have sought to substantiate the claims of the site’s biblical significance, but definitive archaeological evidence has remained elusive.

Historical Context and Misidentifications

Notable scholars in the 1990s, including salvage expert David Fasold and geologist Lorence Collins, suggested that a natural rock formation near DoÄŸubayazıt, Turkey, had been misidentified as Noah’s Ark. Their research indicated that a supposed iron bracket found at the site was actually composed of weathered volcanic materials.

Despite these challenges, the Turkish government granted NAS permission for further geological and archaeological investigations in 2026. Using the BakhtarRadar subsurface imaging system developed by Dr. Bakhtar, researchers have noted the presence of linear features and potential voids beneath the formation. These characteristics could suggest the presence of compartments or corridors, contrary to claims of geological irregularities.

New Excavations and Future Prospects

As part of the 2026 investigation, NAS has begun drilling into the formation to extract soil samples that may contain organic materials, such as wood. These samples will serve as potential evidence supporting further research into the site’s origins. Dr. Bakhtar expressed his excitement over the findings, indicating that the anomalies observed are unlike any he has encountered in his extensive career.

In a video shared by NAS, Bakhtar stated that the identified features indicate that they might originate from a single object, though its exact nature—be it a ship, a spacecraft, or something else—remains to be determined. The survey’s findings have captured the public’s imagination, but the Durupinar Formation still awaits conclusive evidence to confirm its significance.

Ultimately, while the ongoing investigations promise new insights, it’s crucial to remain cautious. Until the findings are peer-reviewed and substantive evidence is obtained, the Durupinar Formation remains an intriguing yet unverified potential site of one of history’s most enduring legends: Noah’s Ark.
