Rawdha, a local citizen, conveyed her excitement after completing the journey, which took just 1 hour and 40 minutes—about an hour longer by car. She noted the groundbreaking impact of the Etihad Rail on travel times for residents who previously faced extended drive durations. “For us in Fujairah, the journey used to be very long,” she remarked, indicating that this service could transform the way residents engage with the broader UAE region.
