“Force of Nature” is an engaging program that showcases a harmonious combination of well-loved classical ballet excerpts along with contemporary pieces specifically choreographed for Osipova. She will be joined by American dancer and choreographer Jason Kittelberger and an additional group of talented guest dancers. This variety ensures that audiences will enjoy a rich tableau of different dance styles and expressions.

Importantly, the performances will also feature the world premiere of a new work crafted in collaboration with an Israeli choreographer, whose identity is yet to be disclosed. This addition underlines the program’s commitment to innovation and cultural exchange in the world of dance, promising audiences a truly unique experience.

An Impressive Artistic Journey

Born in Moscow, Osipova began her ballet training at the Moscow State Academy of Choreography before rising to prominence with the Bolshoi Ballet. She made waves in her debut season there, performing eight leading roles and captivating audiences worldwide. Her breakthrough moment came during the Bolshoi’s performances in London in 2007, where she drew acclaim for her portrayal of Kitri in “Don Quixote,” which is regarded as one of the pivotal roles within the ballet repertoire.

Since then, Osipova has danced with renowned ballet companies across major cities including Paris, Milan, Berlin, and New York. In 2013, she joined the Royal Ballet in London, where she continues to showcase her artistry. Over the years, she has collaborated with some of the industry’s leading choreographers, earning numerous accolades, such as the National Dance Awards and the prestigious Benois de la Danse prize.

The program in Tel Aviv will feature notable excerpts from classical ballets, including “Giselle,” where Osipova shines. Another highlight is “Le Corsaire,” known for its challenging pas de deux. These selections provide a glimpse into the elegance of classical ballet, demonstrating Osipova’s mastery of both style and technique.

Additionally, the contemporary segment of the performance contains “Ashes,” an intimate duet choreographed by Kittelberger in partnership with Osipova. This piece explores themes of connection and the complexities within relationships, showcasing the emotional depth that contemporary ballet can convey.
