The ADNEC Group, a subsidiary of Modon, is poised for an exceptional second half of 2026, with its venues in the UAE set to host over 290 events. This impressive lineup highlights the group’s commitment to offering unparalleled event experiences in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, appealing to both local communities and international visitors.

Expanding Abu Dhabi’s Global Influence

ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi is gearing up for a bustling event season, underscoring the emirate’s growth as a prime destination for both business and leisure tourism. The venue is set to host 21% of its exhibitions and four international associations for the first time in the Middle East, cementing Abu Dhabi’s status as a hub for innovation and global collaboration. The diverse range of events will encompass sectors such as energy, artificial intelligence, healthcare, and sustainability, reinforcing the centre’s reputation for hosting world-class gatherings of all kinds.

In contrast, ADNEC Centre Al Ain focuses on community-driven events, designed to unite the city through cultural exhibitions, sporting events, and academic celebrations. The second half of 2026 will see an array of exhibitions, conferences, and public events, establishing the centre as a gathering space for various activities within the region.

Highlighting Upcoming Events

The summer months of July and August saw significant activities, including the Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. This event offered local residents a chance to engage with the largest indoor sports experiences in the region. The Money Expo also debuted in July, creating a valuable opportunity for financial professionals to network and explore emerging trends in the banking and fintech sectors.

Meanwhile, ADNEC Centre Al Ain hosted multiple school graduations to honor academic achievements and organized the 4th edition of Al Ain Summer Sports, which ran through August, emphasizing health and community wellness.

As the calendar progresses into September, major events will include the renowned Middle East Film and Comic Con and the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, both of which are expected to draw large crowds to celebrate pop culture and literature, respectively.
