AIM Set to Debut on September 7 as UAE Sees Unprecedented Investment Surge

The 15th AIM Investment Summit is set to take place from September 7 to 9, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This prestigious event will feature influential global leaders, policymakers, institutional investors, and innovators, all gathered to discuss the future of investment and economic growth. Under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, the summit aims to enhance Dubai’s reputation as a global investment hub.

### Strategic Axes

The theme of the 2026 summit, “Reshaping Global Prosperity: Opening New Investment Pathways to a Sustainable and Inclusive Future,” focuses on three core strategic axes: global markets, future economies, and the next generation. These axes provide investors and government representatives with platforms to explore collaboration opportunities while fostering cross-border business networks. Discussions will revolve around strategic dialogues on various sectors and investment pathways essential for sustainable economic growth.

Recent data from the World Investment Report 2026 highlights the UAE’s impressive performance in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI), which reached 177.3 billion dirhams in 2025. This achievement has propelled the UAE to the ninth position globally, marking four consecutive years of record-breaking FDI inflows. The cumulative FDI balance in the UAE reached approximately 1.171 trillion dirhams by the end of 2025. As a result, the UAE has solidified its status as the second-largest global destination for new FDI projects, attracting 1,562 projects and accounting for 38% of total capital expenditure on new projects in the Middle East.

### Integrated Agenda

The summit will unfold through a meticulously structured agenda that encompasses major conferences, investment forums, specialized round tables, and international exhibitions. Participants will have access to workshops, competitions for project presentations and innovative ideas, and numerous award ceremonies. Alongside these primary events, there will also be opportunities for organized networking.

The discussions will focus on critical topics such as global capital flows, innovative strategies in emerging markets, and technological advancements that are reshaping investment landscapes. Sustainability and frameworks for supporting cross-border economic opportunities will also be integral to the sessions. As non-oil trade continues to grow, the UAE’s foreign trade value hit 1.937 trillion dirhams in the first half of 2026, marking a notable annual growth rate of 13.1%. Furthermore, non-oil exports reached unprecedented levels of 452.8 billion dirhams, a remarkable rise of 23.9% compared to the same timeframe in the prior year.

The AIM Investment Summit 2026 promises to be a pivotal event for shaping future investment landscapes. As it approaches, attendees can anticipate in-depth discussions and invaluable networking opportunities aimed at fostering a more sustainable and inclusive economic future. This gathering will not only reinforce Dubai’s position as a key player in global investment but also serve as a catalyst for innovative collaborations among participating entities.
