Unveiled by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, this initiative was introduced on May 19 at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre. On June 3, the initiative expanded to include online participation, allowing community members to sign the pledge through Sandooq Al Watan, a philanthropic organization dedicated to preserving Emirati cultural values and identity. Once these steps are completed, participants simply click on the “Click and Participate with Pride” button to finalize their commitment.
Upon successful completion, individuals will be awarded a digital Certificate of Appreciation, signifying their active participation in the ‘Pledge and Commitment’ initiative. Participants can choose between receiving the certificate in a standard format or a visually engaging social media story format that can be shared online.
