UAE Workshop Focuses on Strategy for People of Determination
Last Sunday in Abu Dhabi, Her Highness Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan led a significant workshop aimed at shaping a national strategy for People of Determination. This initiative, organized by the Ministry of Family, gathered representatives from various sectors to discuss and propose initiatives that enhance support and inclusion for individuals with disabilities.
Key Objectives and Collaborative Discussions
The workshop’s primary goal was to address how to bolster the independence and integration of People of Determination within society. Participants engaged in meaningful conversations centering on improving their quality of life, ensuring better access to necessary resources, and supporting families and caregivers. Additionally, the dialogue encompassed critical areas such as education, rehabilitation, and employment. The aim was to determine effective ways to create more accessible environments and services tailored to the needs of these individuals.
